Blue Cross Vermont offers popular Snow Days events for 2019

Vermont Business Magazine Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) will celebrate getting out into Vermont’s beautiful winter by hosting four Snow Days events in 2019. Snow Days feature free access to cross-country skiing and/or snowshoeing trails, and free rentals on a first-come, first-served basis in an effort to encourage physical activity during the winter months. BCBSVT will also provide healthy snacks and hot cocoa. The first 50 attendees at each location will receive a free Snow Days fleece hat.

In 2019, BCBSVT will host Snow Days at the following locations:

January 26

Grafton Trails & Outdoor Center

February 2
11 a.m.—3 p.m.

Mountain Top Inn and Resort

“Our Snow Days are fun opportunities for people to try new outdoor activities during the winter," explains Megan Peek, community relations and health promotion director at BCBSVT. “We aim to encourage outdoor activity and help Vermonters enjoy all the state has to offer." Peek adds that the winter activities vary by site, but that every member of the family, regardless of age and ability, can participate in Snow Days. "We present these events in four areas of the state to allow for as many people as possible to take advantage of the free skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and have a great day outside."
