Vermont Business Magazine The April shower this week with another system moving through dropping four inches of snow Tuesday through Wednesday at Burke Mountain Resort. The 2018+19 season now holds the title for the largest snow accumulation (within the last 8 seasons ) of 232 inches recorded since opening day back in November, and may just hold the title for the longest season as well.
Ski and Ride operations will resume tomorrow with both the Mid Burke AND Sherburne Express lifts servicing the upper and lower mountain areas. Patrol will be scouting the slopes throughout the day today so be sure to check our snow report page for the latest updates on open trails and glades slated for Saturday. This will be the last weekend for lower mountain operations including rentals, Kingdom Cafeteria, and the Tamarack Pub & Grill. So come on up, the forecast is looking good for the second half of Saturday through the majority of Sunday with highs reaching a balmy 65 degrees.
Easter weekend not only marks the end of an amazing 2018+19 winter season but also brings the return of our annual Easter Brunch and Easter egg hunt. Two lucky skiers or riders will find a golden egg, one which contains a certificate redeemable for one 2019+20 winter season pass and the other, a weekend getaway for two in the Burke Mountain Hotel.
Now is the time to purchase your 2019+20 Winter Season Pass with the Tier 1 deadline of Monday, May 13th slowly creeping closer. Purchase during tier 1 and receive TWO (unrestricted) buddy lift ticket vouchers.
At some point Spring will arrive and with it - biking season. The Burke Bike Park is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 25th & Sunday, May 26th.
