Vermont Busienss Magazine Island Auto Haven LLC in Grand Isle is making auto repair a work of art. After a very busy spring and summer their new facility is completed and is firing on all cylinders, as a complete vehicle care center. The shop includes maintenance, brake service, steering and suspension systems, drivetrain service, tires, vehicle diagnostics, alignments, etc. They also repair and restore classic vehicles, install aftermarket accessories, stereo systems, and more. The new location on Route 2 includes a collision center with a Garmat spray booth and PPG Aquabase paints, which are much better for the environment.
But what makes Island Auto truly unique is their art gallery in the showroom that features local artists to share and sell their creations alongside specialty vehicle sales. Specialty vehicles include classic cars, trucks, street rods, hot rods, muscle cars, antiques, as well as modern examples. One such example is the Mercedes SL55 AMG hard top convertible (sports car) which currently is for sale in the showroom. Customers can visit the Art and Cars Gala on a Saturday evenings this fall.
