Vermont Business Magazine Norwich University’s Peace and War Center will host Former US Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Stephen M Young in person and former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice via webcast in the 12th annual China Town Hall event on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 6-8 p.m. in the Mack Hall auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.
To help Americans better understand the complex U.S.-China relationship and the growing role of Chinese investment, the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations(NCUSCR) is conducting the 12th annual CHINA Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections at 100+ venues across the United States and Greater China. The event features Condoleezza Rice, former secretary of state and national security advisor, as the national webcast speaker. The webcast will take place from 6:00-6:45 p.m. EDT and will be followed by presentations from local speakers at each of the venues. At Norwich University, Ambassador Young will present from 6:50-7:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A.
