Berlin Mall welcomes two new distinctively Vermont tenants

Vermont Business Magazine Berlin Mall, LLC, the owner ofBerlin Mall (https://www.theberlinmall.com/) is excited to announce lease signings for two new Vermont-based tenants, Juicebox and Soup’er Heroes. Soup’er Heroes (https://www.facebook.com/SouperHerosSandwichShop/) now open, is a superhero themed sandwich shop (examples include the Edible Hulk, King Pin and Tom Brady) featuring fresh ingredients.

Founded in 2013, Juicebox (https://www.juiceboxvt.com/) is the brainchild of native Vermonters Kara and Ian Bouchett, and is a healthy one-stop shop for the freshest, made-to-order juice and raw food products. Juicebox plans to open in late Summer.

“We’re committed to finding tenants that offer Central Vermont residents, businesses and visitors with valued products and services,” said Ken Simon, VP of Heidenberg Properties Group, owners of Berlin Mall, LLC. “This past year, for example, the Mall became home to Planet Fitness and Supercuts,” added Simon.

In addition to enhancing the Mall’s tenant roster, mallowners are committed to creating a community space featuring vibrant events forarea residents and visitors to enjoy. This past winter, the Mall hosted the 2ndannualWalk the Long Trail at Berlin Mall,which attractedover 900 registered walkers who logged more than 20,000 milesand helped raise $10,000 for the Green Mountain Club.

Berlin Mall, LLC purchased the Mall in 2010 and in 2012, theMall expanded Walmart to become the first Walmart Supercentre inVermont,offering a full-service grocery store. Already home to JCPenney, the Mall addeda third department store when Kohl’s openedin March 2016.
