RRMC requests proposals for comprehensive marketing services for its RPP grant program

Vermont Business Magazine The Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) requests proposals for comprehensive marketing services for its Regional Prevention Partnerships (RPP) grant program. With this RFP, RRMC seeks to acquire the services of a qualified marketing firm to support marketing initiatives for its Regional Prevention Partnerships (RPP) grant program. RRMC invites proposals from interested marketing agencies with extensive experience in brand development, strategic marketing, and creative direction; and, has proven success to guiding volunteer community work groups through the process of identifying and developing a cohesive, relevant, and engaging brand, messaging and marketing materials. Preference will be given to agencies providing a broad range of experience; portfolios with analogous projects.

ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND/OVERVIEW:

The Partners for Prevention is a volunteer community work group dedicated to sustainable substance use prevention efforts for Rutland County youth and young adults. This collaboration was initiated and is supported by the Regional Prevention Partnerships (RPP) grant held by Rutland Regional Medical Center. This network of stakeholders are helping to shape prevention efforts throughout Rutland County, Vermont to strengthen and increase substance use prevention capacity and implement evidence-based strategies to: reduce underage & binge drinking in youth ages 12-20; reduce prescription drug misuse and abuse in persons aged 12-25; and, reduce marijuana use in persons aged 12-25.

PROJECT SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES:

Assess available data relevant to youth and young adult substance use prevention with a geographic focus on Rutland County, VT to identify focused prevention priorities.

Engage Partners for Prevention community work group stakeholders, assist in establishing ad hoc committee and secure commitments from partners for contributions to this project.

Identify communications challenges in regard to prevention of substance use in youth and young adults (alcohol, prescription drugs, marijuana), and develop an evidence-based action plan to address those barriers with an emphasis on sustainability.

Identify and develop engaging branding for the Partners for Prevention community work group.

Identify and develop engaging and creative ways to unify prevention messaging, and to get all stakeholders involved. This includes, but is not limited to, prevention messaging and materials that utilizes Rutland County data and is targeting youth or parents that all stakeholders would be confident in utilizing.

Communicate with State partners, RPP Coordinator, and sustainability facilitator to coordinate and complement project deliverables.

PROPOSED TIMELINE: This project is a deliverable component of the Regional Prevention Partnership (RPP) grant, requiring completion of the project no later than June 15, 2018.

BUDGET: Not to exceed $13,700

PROVIDE BIOGRAPHIES OF KEY STAFF

Please include a summary of experience of all key staff.

EXPERIENCE

Proposals should include a list describing projects that are similar in scale that your firm has completed. Where possible, highlight work for analogous organizations.

SCHEDULE AND TIMELINE

Proposals should include the estimated project schedule to complete by June 15, 2018.

COST

Proposals must include the estimated cost for all work, and list of anticipated expenses. Cost should not exceed the project budget cap of $13,700.
