Milton man found dead at I-91 park and ride

Vermont Business Magazine On June 21, 2018, at approximately 7:18 am the Vermont State Police were contacted by a concerned citizen who reported a deceased male in a vehicle in the I-91 Exit 9 Park and Ride in the town of Hartland. Members of the Vermont State Police Field Force Division, Bureau of Criminal Investigation Division and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner-(Assistant Medical Examiner) responded to investigate.

A male subject was located in vehicle within the Park and Ride. That male has been identified as 48 year old David Valenti of Milton, VT. Next of kin has been notified. Valenti’s body was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington for autopsy. The Windsor County State’s Attorney’s Office was notified and assisted in the investigation.

The investigation into the cause and manner of death is ongoing and pending autopsy results. At this time no foul play is suspected.
