Vermont Business Magazine Mack Molding, a leading custom plastics molder and supplier of contract manufacturing services, announced today additions to its senior staff with the appointments of Jessica Fredette as director of human resources and Joe Prandini as director of information technology. Both Fredette and Prandini have responsibilities for the Northern Division, reporting directly to President Jeff Somple.

“Our newest leaders represent an exciting mix of new blood and veteran Mack experience,” said Somple. “Jessica brings extensive HR experience in managing employee relations, benefits administration, employee development and talent acquisition, while Joe – a 17-year veteran of the Company – offers a deep familiarity with the organization, coupled with expertise in business systems. It also is a bittersweet moment, as we say goodbye to Nancy Cefalo, who is retiring after more than 17 years with the company, including three-and-a-half as director of human resources.”

Prior to joining Mack, Fredette most recently served as human resources director for Addison County Home Health & Hospice in Middlebury, Vt. She previously served as human resources director at Midway Oil Corporation & Donuts of Rutland, Vt., as well as an HR generalist and training specialist at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Fredette has a master’s degree in human resources management from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Castleton University. She is also a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHP) and a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Prandini first joined the Company as a systems administrator in April 2001, and since 2004 has served as information systems manager. During his tenure with Mack, he built a particular expertise in Microsoft network infrastructure, ERP, document control and other business systems. He previously gained IT experience as a network administrator at NSK in Bennington, Vt., and a systems analyst at Sysco Foods in Albany, N.Y. In addition to having a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management information systems from the University of Vermont, Prandini is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer, as well as a Certified Novell Engineer.
