Berlin Mall launches The HUB at Berlin Mall

Vermont Business Magazine Berlin Mall, LLC, the owner of Berlin Mall is introducing The HUB at Berlin Mall — an opportunity for individuals and organizations to temporarily use up to 3,000 square feet of prime space in the Mall — rent-free. The HUB at Berlin Mall offers free, flexible space—perfect for start-ups, freelancers, artists, performers, makers, teachers…individuals or groups needing prime mall space for a wide range of purposes, including: activities, classes, events, exhibits, films, lectures, meetings, mixers, performances, shows and work. (While the space is not available to individuals or businesses for the sale of products, users can charge for services and performances.)

The HUB at Berlin Mall offers prime, rent-free space for up to 12 months, complete with utilities, Wi-Fi and parking. The high-profile 3,000-square-foot space can be portioned to suit occupants’ needs, and scheduling is flexible, offering morning, afternoon or evening slots; full days; one or more days a week; and up to eight weeks at a time.

The Berlin Mall welcomes proposals that will help make Central Vermont an even better place to live and work, and add to the range of events, services and activities available at Berlin’s Town Center. Interested parties are required to complete an application form, which is available at the Mall Manager’s office, or by emailing [email protected].

“From pop-up events to shared workspace to a public meeting place, The HUB at Berlin Mall is a great opportunity for folks to realize their vision and pursue their passion in a supportive community environment,” said Mall Manager, Gerry Hanifin.

“We’re working hard to secure tenants that meet the community’s needs and wants, while realizing our vision of creating a community space featuring positive experiences for residents and visitors alike,” added Land Strategies’ Michael Rushman, the Mall’s Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning.

Berlin Mall’s anchor tenants include Walmart, Kohl’s and JCPenney, and just this past year, Planet Fitness and Supercuts joined the mall’s impressive tenant roster. In addition, Passumpsic Savings Bank is scheduled to open at the mall in the Fall of 2018.
