Citizens Bank selected best Treasury and Cash Management provider in region

Vermont Business Magazine Global Finance selected Citizens Bank, with branches in Vermont, as best Treasury and Cash Management provider for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions in its 18th annual provider rankings -- a trio of honors that makes Citizens the most celebrated U.S. regional bank. Citizens has made significant investments in Treasury Solutions over the past several years. The Citizens’ team is growing and dedicated to delivering a superior client experience while also working to continuously improve its product suite to meet the evolving needs of its clients.

Citizens will be recognized for its top rankings on Oct. 24 in Sydney during the annual Sibos conference, which is organized by SWIFT for the financial industry and brings together 8,000 business leaders and experts.

“Citizens is committed to providing our clients with tailored solutions to help them reach their potential. This recognition reflects the great efforts of our strong Citizens team,” said Michael Cummins, head of Treasury Solutions at Citizens Bank. “As our clients’ strategic and financial partner, we will continue to invest significantly in our business so that they have the tools to make the best decisions to build their businesses.”

“With too much money chasing too few opportunities, sophisticated financial leadership, based on detailed, timely information, is a critical component of smart corporate management today,” said Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance. “Our Treasury & Cash Management Awards recognize the financial institutions that lead the field in providing their treasury clients with insights and real-time tools that they need.”

Global Finance used a multi-tiered assessment process — which included input from industry analysts, corporate executives, technology experts and independent research — to select the best providers of treasury and cash management services. A variety of subjective and objective criteria were considered, including: profitability, market share and reach, customer service, competitive pricing, product innovation and the extent to which treasury and cash management providers have successfully differentiated themselves from their competitors around core service provision.
