REDC and Community Capital to receive grants from Berkshire Bank

Vermont Business Magazine Berkshire Bank will host a luncheon onWednesday to recognize National Small Business Week. The event will honor local Rutland Economic Development Corporation and Community Capital of Vermont with a $1,000 grant in recognition of their commitment to supporting and assisting local small businesses.

Berkshire Bank said in a press rlease that theevent allows for a consistent message across the bank'senterprise in valuing small business, and helps deepen relationships with key constituencies working with small businesses.

Dwight Williams, VP, Business Banking Team Leader, will lead the event and honor Rutland Economic Development Corporation and Community Capital of Vermont with a $1,000 grant on behalf of Berkshire Bank.

All entrepreneurs, current small business owners and those individuals interested in more information about owning and operating a small business. Additionally, individuals affiliated with Rutland Economic Development Corporation and Community Capital of Vermont are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The event will be held at Berkshire Bank,20-22 West Street inRutland on Wednesday, May 10, atnoon.
