Vermont Business MagazineCommunity Care Network and College of StJoseph have partnered to make college more affordable and accessible to CCN employees and their families. The partnership, through CSJ’s corporate cohort program, offers CSJ’s associate, bachelor and graduate programs to CCN employees at a reduced tuition rate. Additionally, CCN has developed a tuition reimbursement program for its employees in tandem with the CSJ agreement.
“Supporting a trained human services workforce with higher education is a priority for Community Care Network,” said Dick Courcelle, CEO. “Attaining college credits can be costly. This partnership with CSJ presents an affordable solution for our organization to help our employees pay for their professional education. And our employees receive the education they need to advance in their careers.”
James Lambert, Vice President for External Affairs at CSJ, said the College has long met the educational needs of many CCN employees, particularly with its undergraduate and graduate offerings in Psychology & Human Services. This partnership brings all of CSJ’s degree programs, including allied health and the Master of Business Administration program, to CCN employees at a discounted rate.
“We are proud to partner with another of the region’s great employers to make college more accessible to more than 400 families in the area,” Lambert said. “Community Care Network should be recognized for making a major investment in its employees and the Rutland Region. This is just another example of the positive energy that we are seeing build in and around Rutland.”
Through the College’s corporate cohort program, participating businesses and organizations like CCN can cultivate and retain well-rounded, highly-qualified employees. In addition to academic instruction, CSJ will provide CCN employees with invaluable resources and a broad range of academic support services, including academic advising, access to the CSJ campus – including the recently renovated Giorgetti Library – and academic support, as needed, through the CSJ Learning Center.
