Tenth Crow Creative receives two awards of excellence at NESHCo

Vermont Business Magazine Tenth Crow Creative Takes Home Two 2017 NESHCo Lamplighter Awards of Excellence in Healthcare Marketing Burlington, VT: At this year’s New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) conference, hosted in Falmouth, MA, Tenth Crow Creative received two Awards of Excellence in Healthcare Marketing. This is the agency’s third year in a row receiving NESHCo recognition for work produced for Northwestern Medical Center (NMC), of Saint Albans VT.

The first award was for an advertising campaign promoting NMC’s orthopaedic practice as a destination for sports-related injurycare and rehabilitation. Based on an authentic storytelling strategy told through a TV commercial and supporting digital and printads and other collateral, the campaign told the stories of three real NMC orthopaedic patients of varying ages whose lives werepositively impacted by NMC’s care. Website analytics showed a steady increase of visits to the NMC Orthopaedics’ landing pageover the four month campaign, with page visits reaching a high of 1,566/month, session times increasing by over 100%, clickthrough rates increasing by 35% and organic search placement markedly improved. But most importantly, the campaign resultedin patient visits rising by approximately 10%.

The second award was received for a direct mail piece promoting Mother’s Day and mammogram screenings. Supporting NMC’smission of building and supporting healthy lifestyles, this piece was designed to (i) help increase the number of northwesternVermont women scheduling and attending preventative screenings, (ii) make these women aware of the financial assistanceavailable for getting mammograms and (iii) promote the newly available breast care navigator service to assist patients andfamilies through the process. The campaign was a success, utilizing a friendly, emotionally resonant creative approach to getwomen and families to slow down and think about the importance of preventative health. NMC experienced a 40% boost in webtraffic to the Diagnostic Imaging web page and steady mammogram patient counts, a success considering the recentlyrecommended later start-date for mammograms.
