State police death investigations in Londonderry

Vermont State Police On July 12, 2017, Vermont State Police detectives investigated two unattended deaths in the Town of Londonderry. At approximately 0950 hours, troopers and Londonderry Rescue personnel responded to a residence on North Main Street for a reported non-responsive male in his apartment. 22-year-old Keith Johnson was found to be deceased. Evidence of recent illicit drug use was present in the apartment.

At approximately 1341 hours, detectives at the above scene responded to Magic Mountain Access Rd for a second unattended death. A 41-year-old female had collapsed suddenly at her residence and was unable to be revived by rescue personnel. The female’s name is not yet being released so family notifications can be completed.

At this time, it is undetermined if the deaths are connected. Both victims will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington. Autopsy/toxicology are pending. Both investigations are active and anyone with information should contact the State Police at the Westminster Barracks.
