Vermont Business Magazine The Stowe Area Association (SAA) has named RepresentativeHeidi Scheuermann, Vermont State Representative (R-Stowe) and owner of AllegroProperties, as Stowe Business Person of the Year at its Annual Meeting andDinner member event held at Stowe Bowl on June 28.The Stowe Business Person of the Year recognizes an SAA member in goodstanding who is involved in the community, with town projects or sits on atown board; an ambassador of Stowe; and involved in the tourism industry.Scheuermann exemplifies each of these characteristics and was unanimouslyselected by the Stowe Business Person of the Year Nomination Committee.
“We’re pleased to name Heidi as Stowe Business Person of the Year,”said Bruce Nourjian, owner, Commodores Inn. “Whether it’s through herbusiness, volunteering or representing in the legislature, Heidi workstirelessly for the Stowe community. She is deserving of this specialrecognition.”
A Stowe native, Rep. Scheuermann has been a member of the Vermont House ofRepresentatives since 2007 and was a former member and Chair of the StoweSelect Board. She owns Allegro Properties, a property management anddevelopment business in Stowe. Scheuermann also is a member of the StoweRotary Club, Stowe Vibrancy, Inc., American Council of Young PoliticalLeaders, National Peace Corps Association and RPCV Friends of Poland.

Stowe Area Association solicits nominations from members for its annualBusiness Person of the Year in early May. The top 10 are selected for reviewby the Stowe Business Person of the Year Committee.
