Vermont Business Magazine Today, Democratic Candidate Sue Minter, announced that her campaign raised $101,000 for the September 1 filing period, which spanned 16 days from August 13 to August 29. Minter has raised $1,150,000 for the cycle and reported with over $85,000 cash on hand.
“As Governor I will work tirelessly to make sure that we are focused on growing economic opportunity so that middle-class Vermonters can afford to live, work and stay here in Vermont" said Sue Minter. "I'm honored to have thousands of Vermonters supporting us in this effort. Together we will get Vermont's economy working again by investing in our historic downtowns, working to attract and grow innovative businesses and by supporting our next generation with quality childcare and two years tuition free at community or technical college.”
The Minter campaign said it enters Labor Day weekend with momentum reporting over $100,000 raised in just 16 days, over 3,300 contributors, hundreds of volunteers across the state and recent endorsements from the Vermont-NEA and the AFL-CIO.
