Vermont Business Magazine The Franklin County Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of their Member 2 Member Benefit Program with a special discounted rate on fuel offered through three local fuel companies. This program is open to Chamber member businesses and their employees. Member 2 Member benefit programs bring value to chamber membership by offering appealing discounted programs or goods from members to members. This is the first such endeavor by the Franklin County Regional Chamber; the goal is to add to this program with diverse and robust offerings.
Amerigas for Propane will be administered by the Ruth Clark Fuel Group of Williamstown, VT. Established in 1998, RCFG serves over 1100 households in Vermont and New Hampshire, making it one of the oldest fuel buying groups in the area. RCFG will offer propane at a cost of $1.36 per gallon. (Note that market price fluctuates.)
Clarence Brown, a division of St. Albans-based SB Collins will offer Heating Oil and Kerosene at .10 off market price per gallon. An additional reduction of .10 per gallon will be offered in accounts are paid in full within 15 days of fuel delivery.
The Energy Co-Op of Vermont, located in Colchester, will offer wood pellets discounted at $20 off the regular price, per ton ordered.
Registration is required, and in some cases, verification of Chamber membership is also requested. Members may register individually, directly through each fuel company. Registration information for each company is also located on the Chamber website.
