Mary Catherine Jones joins Shadow Production team

Vermont Business Magazine Shadow Productions and Shadow Associates in Behavior Change are proud to welcome Mary Catherine Jones as a producer and researcher. In the role of producer for Shadow Productions, Jones works with clients, directs talent, and produces both audio and video marketing materials for a variety of local and regional clients. As a researcher for Shadow Associates in Behavior Change (Shadow ABC), Jones will rely on her background in social psychology and her extensive community contacts to organize and conduct qualitative and quantitative research in the areas of health, energy, and environmental communication.

“We’re especially excited to have Mary Catherine on our team because, at our place, everybody has to have a variety of skills and interests,” said Shadow founder, Matthew Dugan.  “Not only is Mary Catherine a great engineer and producer for Shadow Productions, but she’s also an experienced researcher for the Shadow ABC side of the company, which is so critical because behavior change communication is complex. Having researchers and message producers under the same roof is our niche, and she’s the right kind of nerd to join our staff of like-minded folks.”

Prior to her work at Shadow, Jones worked as a manager of sales and marketing for Inner Traditions International Publishing co. in Rochester, VT.  She also worked as an Instructor and coach for Such-A-Voice voice over training program, in Shelburne. “I’m delighted that I can blend my expertise in audio production with my deep interest in social psychology all under the same roof,” said Jones. “I’m having a blast!”
