Vermont Comedy Club announces upcoming headliners

Gilbert Gottfried, James Adomian and More to Kick Off Season at New Venue in Burlington

Vermont Business Magazine The ground floor at 101 Main Street in the Armory Building in downtown Burlington, VT may still be under construction, but Vermont Comedy Club has announced upcoming their winter season. The venue, which will feature standup and improv comedy shows and classes, will open on November 18 with the annual Vermont’s Funniest Comedian contest, a battle of 60 local standup comedians. December classes are registering, headliners have been announced and tickets are now on sale for shows through January. (The space is also available for meetings and private events.)

  • Vermont Comedy Divas – Dec 18
  • Mike Finoia – Dec 19
  • Gilbert Gottfried (Aladdin, Comedy Central) – Jan 8/9
  • Steve Bjork - Jan 15/16
  • DeAnne Smith (Last Comic Standing) – Jan 22/23
  • Good Cop/Great Cop (Comedy Central) – Jan 29/30

On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays (as well as late night on Fridays and Saturdays), the venue will present local standup and improv performances.

The venue will seat approximately 175 patrons (subject to fire approval) and a separate lounge and bar will greet guests at the Main Street entrance. Tickets can be purchased and more information can be found at www.vtcomedy.com.
