Brattleboro Memorial Hospital wins two healthcare advertising awards

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and Jennings has been recognized by the 32ndAnnual Healthcare Advertising Awards with a Gold and Silver Award in recognition of the hospital’s Emergency Department “Rapid Care” campaign. With nearly 3,500 entries, the Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report (HMR), is the oldest, largest and most widely respected advertising awards competition in the country and one of the ten largest of all advertising awards.

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital’s Rapid Care campaign was comprised of various print, digital, and direct mail pieces that utilized a striking blue background offset with large, white icons depicting various accidents, such as falling off a ladder or toppling over the handlebars of a bicycle.

“It is a distinct honor to work with such a wonderful healthcare brand. Hospitals, like other businesses, are constantly working to discover new and innovative methods to reach their community and support their patients, and we found a way to communicate Brattleboro Memorial Hospital’s values, brand and community awareness in an innovative, fun way,” said Dan Dunlop, principal of marketing agency Jennings. “We were fortunate to have the chance to work with a high caliber organization and have our work recognized in this distinguished healthcare award competition.”

Jennings engagement with Brattleboro Memorial Hospital began in 2014 when the agency was tapped to create and execute a strategic marketing campaign to extend and solidify brand awareness around the newly renovated Emergency Department.

“Our relationship with Jennings resulted in the community understanding our new approach to providing care in the Emergency Department. Working with Jennings strategic council and creativity made the project seamless, they developed and executed it wonderfully,” said Nicole Zinn, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital’s communications and social media manager. “BMH is proud to win these awards as it solidifies the hard work we and our agency partner completed last year.”

HMR is the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. The awards, judged by a national panel of healthcare marketing experts, were reviewed for creativity, quality, message effectiveness, customer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
