The Boys and Girls Club of Burlington has been serving area youth since 1942, offering programs for children and teens in grades K ‘ 12.’ The Club currently serves more than 800 community youth and families through many outreach activities.
Also in 2013, Northfield Savings Bank provided support to the Central Vermont Community Action Council and the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity and their programs which provide free income tax preparation and assistance for low income Vermonters. Both organizations are dedicated to helping people achieve economic sufficiency and independence.
