Bitybean a finalist in Peak Pitch 2014.Doug Hartwell, the owner ofBitybeanand a CCVT borrower, took part in Peak Pitch 2014. Peak Pitch is an event at Sugarbush Resort at which investorsand entrepreneurs have the opportunity to network as they ride the chairlift together. This year, Bitybean --the ultimate in child-carrying convenience– is a finalist in this highly competitive event. This is not the first award for Bitybean. Others include:

Community Capital also announced the receipt of a $10,000 grant from Merchants Bank in Burlington.
According to Cheryl Houchens, Merchants Bank VP for Compliance, “With this grant, Merchants Bank is able to take part in supporting Community Capital as they assist lower income entrepreneurs grow their businesses, create jobs and build financial stability through entrepreneurship.”
Community Capital stated the Merchants Bank grant gives it a boostto help small businesses develop and flourish.
