Executive Director Bill Young is pleased to announce Maple Leaf Farm has been awarded a Three-Year Accreditation for its residential drug and alcohol treatment and detoxification programs by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
CARF is an internationally recognized independent accrediting body whose goal is to promote high quality consumer-focused services. In the award letter, CARF praised Maple Leaf Farm's board, leadership, and staff members heart for their work and compassion to promote positive movement toward recovery for the men and women seeking hope and healing. Maple Leaf Farm's location in a peaceful and remote environment was also lauded as being conducive to intensive therapy and the creation of an environment for change. In addition, the CARF survey team remarked that clients of Maple Leaf Farm expressed a deep appreciation for the daily dedication and commitment of staff members as they assist them in their recovery. It was noted that many of the staff members go out of their way to meet their needs in treatment, and services are always provided in a compassionate and respectful manner.
