Norwich University names Kathy Murphy-Moriarty director of communications

Norwich University is pleased to announce that Kathy Murphy-Moriarty has been hired as Director of Communications and Marketing for the university’s Office of Communications. Murphy-Moriarty previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer for the State of Vermont.
‘We are thrilled to have Kathy at the helm of our communications team as we prepare for our bicentennial in 2019 and our third century of service to the nation,’ said Dave Whaley, Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations. ‘With her experience and successful track record, Norwich’s brand will be in very good hands.’
Murphy-Moriarty is responsible for managing the Norwich brand and developing, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive outreach strategy. She oversees a 12-person team that is responsible for advancing the university’s reputation, enrollment, alumni engagement, and fundraising.
