Blu-Bin to open new 3D printing shop in Burlington

Blu-Bin, Inc announces that the cutting edge retail 3D printing service that sprouted out of Poultney, VT, has moved its operations to a new space at 20 Church Street in downtown Burlington, and will be holding a grand opening on September 6th.
The new location will offer a variety of services pertaining to 3D printing. These services range from 3D printers which will be constantly creating objects for customers on demand, to a 3D scanning station will allow for the duplication of existing items. Along with these, there will be two work stations which will allow customers to access the company’s online catalogue of designs as well as allowing customers to create their own designs. Blu-Bin will also have a plastic recycling service will turn select plastic waste from the Burlington community into filament that can be used in the shop.
Daniel Riley, CEO of Blu-Bin has this to say about the new location, ‘We haven’t even opened up and people are already crowded outside our shop watching the machine we have working in the window. I can’t wait to see what people make; this is truly an incredible time in our growth as a company.’
Blu-Bin, Inc is a retail 3D printing company that was founded in August, 2012. In its first year of operations it has helped hundreds of people and companies turn their ideas or CAD files into objects. As of August 2013 they have closed their original Poultney location, though they keep a presence through a staff member running events to teach the local community about 3D printing. The doors of the new shop in Burlington will be opened to the public on September 6th at 10 am.
