DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington wins national Care Cup

DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington has been awarded the prestigious national CARE Cup in recognition of ranking in the top ten of all DoubleTree by Hilton properties in fourth quarter 2012. The award recognizes the brands highest form of overall excellence in the quality of guest experience, team member engagement and community involvement.
John Greenleaf, Global Head of DoubleTree by Hilton and Bill Walp, Brand Performance Director presented the coveted trophy to Rick Milliken, General Manager, and the employees at a ceremony which included guests representing Vermonts tourism and hospitality industry. Walp stated that excellence starts with the little things that mean everything, beginning with focusing on the human touches and acts of kindness that make our travelers feel human again. The legacy of CARE is what differentiates our hotels from all others.
The DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, located on Williston Road in South Burlington, maintains an employee CARE Committee with representatives from each department. It serves to promote, coordinate and continue the tradition of demonstrating a high level of quality and excellence both for its guests and within the community. The hotel employs 120 full and part-timers, has 161 deluxe guest rooms including 33 luxury suites, 6000 square feet of meeting space, and operates Trader Dukes Restaurant.
