The 2013 Vermont Non-Profit Centennial Awards to be held today, March 13, 2013, at 4 pm. The Secretary of State's office is honoring the following six groups this year:
The First Congregational Church of North Troy, est. 1818
Henry Sheldon Museum of Vermont History, Middlebury, est. 1882
First Baptist Church of Barre, est. 1889
Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Association, North Thetford, est. 1854
Burlington Lodge # 916 BOPE of USA, Burlington, est. 1904
Springfield Hospital, Springfield, est. 1913
The event will be held at the Vermont Statehouse, beginning at 4 pm with refreshments followed by the presentation ceremony in the Cedar Creek Room at 4:30 pm.
Everyone is welcome to join the celebration to honor these longstanding non-profits for their vital contributions to the great state of Vermont.
