Northfield Savings Bank donates over $43,000 to Vermont community organizations

Over the course of the past three months Northfield Savings Bank has made donations of over $43,000 to Vermont non-profit organizations. Vermont Youth Conservation Corps is just one of the organizations recently receiving a $3,000 donation.
The Vermont Youth Conservation Corps is a nonprofit youth, leadership, service, conservation, and education organization that instills in individuals the values of personal responsibility, hard work, education, and respect for the environment. Each year, the VYCC hires young people ages 16-24 who work and study together under adult leadership to complete high-priority conservation projects such as state park management, trail maintenance, and backcountry construction.
