Taxpayers looking for their Vermont tax forms may obtain them online at the Vermont Department of Taxes website at www.tax.vermont.gov. The Personal Income Tax Return Booklet, instructions, tax tables and other helpful information may be downloaded and printed from the Forms section of the departments website. Another option for taxpayers is to file state tax returns electronically through Vermont e-file, also available on the departments website.
Printed forms will be distributed later than usual in early February due to the delay in the federal tax forms caused by the fiscal cliff legislation. They will be available through many town clerk offices, libraries and post offices. Taxpayers also may request forms by calling (802) 828-2515 or emailing [email protected].
