22nd Annual Economic Outlook Conference: Will Growth Finally Pick Up in 2013?

National and regional economists will explore the 2013 economic environment in the coming year with a focus on what shape the national and state economic recovery will take this year and beyond.
The 22nd annual Vermont Economic Conference will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center and is hosted by The Vermont Economy Newsletter and sponsored by TD Bank, KPMG, and the Vermont Yankee Development Corporation. 11:00 11:40 Tom Pelham, former Vermont Commissioner of Finance, Tax Commissioner, and Deputy Secretary of Administration, will speak on The Vermont State Budget: The Glass Tips Toward Half Empty.
11:40 12:15 Art Woolf, editor of The Vermont Economy Newsletter, will speak on Earning a Living in Vermont.
1:00 p.m. Amity Shlaes, Bloomberg columnist and Director of the Bush Institute Four Percent Project and author of the forthcoming book, Coolidge, will speak on What Coolidge Would Do In 2013.
