Vermont Family Network welcomes new board members

Vermont Family Network has named two new members to its Board of Directors. These individuals are highly committed to VFN’ s mission of promoting better health, education, and well-being for all children and families with a focus on children and young adults with special needs.

‘ We are very excited to have these talented individuals join our Board of Directors,’ said Pam McCarthy, President/CEO of Vermont Family Network. ‘ Vermont Family Network is fortunate to have such a diverse group of Board members with a wide variety of skills and experiences that will ensure the organization’ s success well into the future.’

Ellen Zeman is a ‘ Vermonter by Choice,’ having first come to the Green Mountain State to attend UVM and returning years later to work and raise a family. A Burlington resident since 1992, Ellen has been active as a volunteer working to support excellence in public education for all students and to ensure services and for children with special needs. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Burlington Students Foundation since 2007, serving as President since 2010. She currently works at Champlain College as a Senior Institutional Research Analyst. She is married to Paul Hale, and they have a daughter who is a sophomore at Burlington High School.
Dan Reagan CLU, ChFC is a financial advisor with 25 years of experience in insurance and financial services. As a Founding Partner of Castle Advisors, LLP, Dan provides business owners and high net worth individuals with timely solutions to their benefit, insurance, and financial planning needs. He offers securities through NFP Securities, Inc. Member FINRA/SIPC. In addition to his role at Castle Advisors, Dan holds the chartered Financial Consultant, ChFC, and the CLU, Certified Life Underwriter designations from the American College. A native of Rochester, NY, Dan received his Bachelors degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1981 and relocated to Vermont in 1986. Dan resides in South Burlington with his wife Allison their two sons, Josh and Ben. Dan enjoys playing golf and ice hockey and numerous outdoor recreational activities.
