Local legislators met over dinner at North Country Hospital to discuss the current status of the hospital and other health care issues. Hospital CEO Claudio Fort gave an overview of hospital services, the economic impact the hospital has on the community, and the current healthcare environment. Hospital trustees, administrators, physicians, and lawmakers talked about the topics being discussed in Montpellier this session and how they may affect healthcare in the Northeast Kingdom community.
