Golf Fundraiser for Vermont Children's Hospital Sets Record $151,000 Raised Will Support Care for Critically Ill Children

The 24th Annual Fletcher Allen Golf Tournament to benefit Vermont Children's Hospital raised a record setting $151,000 this year. The event was held at Burlington Country Club and was co-sponsored by 38 organizations including Farrington Construction, PC Construction, Epic Solutions and Sugarbush Resort. The proceeds will be used to purchase pediatric transport and intensive care equipment for critically ill infants and children.
"We are so grateful to all the people and partners who made this event such a success," said Lewis First, MD chief of Pediatrics at Vermont Children's Hospital. "These funds will stay right here in our region to help bring new programs, services and life-saving equipment to the critically injured and ill children who need our Vermont Children's Hospital."
The Fletcher Allen Health Care Foundation office would like to extend its thanks to all of the sponsors, players and volunteers who made this year's event a tremendous success.
