Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin's office announced late Wednsday afternoon that the visit from Quebec Premier Jean Charest scheduled for Thursday has been postponed. The premier will remain in Quebec City to attend debates in the national assembly. Charest was to have attended the Vermont Expo being held at the Sheraton Burlington on Thursday.
