A specialty athletic retailer based in Boston, City Sports is excited to open its first Vermont location (previously announced in December) at 35 Church Street on May 6.
The grand opening event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm this Sunday (5/6), and include a live band and over $1,000 in giveaways, including City Sports gift cards and merchandise and tickets to the Lake Monsters. Also customers who spend $50 or more get two free tickets to a 2012 Lake Monsters game. The first 100 customers to enter the store will also receive a free City Sports gift bag and have the chance to win the grand prize: one free pair of shoes a month for an entire year!
Additionally, for every transaction made Saturday, May 5 through Sunday, May 13, City Sports will donate $1to the Burlington YMCA.
