Bill Orleans, president of PP&D Brochure Distribution, announced that the firm will be managing all brochure displays on the Lake Champlain Transportation (LCT) ferries.
‘After 30 years of being asked, ‘How can I get my brochures on the ferries?’. I finally have an answer, Orleans said. ‘These are wonderful locations, very high traffic, and truly a captive audience. With limited slots available, I’m sure these brochure displays will be full very quickly.’
LCT operates seven boats on three crossings; from Charlotte, Vermont to Essex, New York; Burlington to Port Kent, New York; and Grand Isle to Plattsburgh, New York. They make over 50,000 trips per year and host almost a million passengers.
‘We’ve trusted PP&D to distribute our own ferry brochures for more then 20 years. They've always done a great job. We looking forward to this new relationship and expect the same high quality service, in sales and stocking of all the brochure racks on our ferries’, said Margaret Murphy, LCT’s assistant operations manager.
PP&D, founded in 1981 by Bill Orleans, is located in Burlington. Seven employees service more than 700 brochure displays in Vermont, New York and New Hampshire for more than 300 clients. Clients include Shelburne Museum, Adirondack Museum, Vermont Teddy Bear, Ausable Chasm, Ben and Jerry’s, High Falls Gorge, Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, The Wild Center, Magic Hat Brewery and Dakin Farms.
