Pamela Mackenzie of South Burlington has been elected chair of the board of directors of Vermont Public Television (VPT), Vermontâ s statewide public television network. She is president and CEO of DeckerZinn, chair of the Vermont Telecommunications Authority and serves on the South Burlington City Council.
Mackenzie succeeds Brian Harwood of Waterbury, who continues on the VPT board as past chair.
Board member Robert Hofmann of Waterbury was elected vice chair. He is senior vice president and senior operations officer for Union Bank in Morrisville.
The board elected two new members, Jeremy Schrauf of West Wardsboro and Lisa M Ventriss of South Burlington. Schrauf has taught economics at University at Albany and other institutions. He worked for many years for the State of New York in the Budget Division, the Governor's Office of Employee Relations and the Department of Labor.
Ventriss is president and CEO of Vermont Business Roundtable. Before that, she was president and CEO of Vermont Captive Insurance Association and director of government relationsfor Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation.
