National Life Group donates $20,000 to help disaster victims

National Life Group donated $20,000 to the American Red Cross to help disaster victims, including those from SuperStorm Sandy.
Nobody knows better than we do in Vermont how it feels to go through a natural disaster, said Mehran Assadi, President and CEO of National Life Group. We just want to help where we can. Its what good companies do.
In addition to the Red Cross donation, National Life Group also stuffed two trucks with nine tons of supplies and sent them to Staten Island. Employees used the volunteer time offered by the company to help.
Sandy was a monumental storm, said Larry Crist, American Red Cross Regional Executive for Vermont and New Hampshire. National Life Groups donation will help those affected by Sandy, plus it will help us help others during future disasters.
