LDT Electrical Contractors recently won the Outstanding Project Award for Innovation and Excellence, given by the Vermont Independent Electrical Contractors Association (VEICA) at its Annual Meeting and Award Ceremony held on December 4 at the Hilton Hotel in South Burlington.
LDT Electrical won for their work on Woodstock Inn Spa building.
The new 10,000 foot facility started in October, and had to be completed the following October. With such an aggressive schedule Project Management was the key to ensure that equipment deliveries did not affect job progress, and that coordination with other trades was timely. 3,645 man hours later, LDT received their final electrical inspection, and the resort received their Certificate of Occupancy on schedule.
The project was awarded a LEED certification because of its demonstrated sensitivity to the environment and surroundings.
