Bread Loaf Corporation., was recently awarded for their Outstanding Quality of Work and Effort, in the Specialty, Renovation category, by the Associated General Contractors of Vermont (AGC/VT), at its annual Best Builders Award Ceremony held on December 4 at the Hilton Hotel in South Burlington.
Bread Loaf Corporation, based out of Middlebury, won for their work on the Colchester Police Station.
The company was selected by the Town of Colchester to plan, estimate, and execute an affordable renovation and addition project within a very tight budget. Bread Loaf assisted the Town in every phase of the project, from bidding through construction.
Changes had to be made throughout the project to include updates to data and telecommunications needs, upgrades in energy efficiency during the insulation work, locker room expansion and added drainage and parking in the rear.
