Long Trail Brewing Company re-releases Goodnight Irene Ale

Long Trail Brewing Company's recent re-release of Goodnight Irene Ale was a large success once again this year in helping to support Vermonter's affected by Irene's flooding. Long Trail, working in conjunction with Farrell Distributing Co and other distributor partners, was able to match last year's total of over $10,000.00, which was donated this week to The Vermont Food Bank and The Vermont Community Foundation.
"Vermont has come a long way since the devastation of Hurricane Irene," said Brian Walsh, CEO of Long Trail Brewing. "By re-introducing Goodnight Irene Ale, Long Trail was able to support the recovery effort by doing what we do best: brewing quality beer."
Most recently Long Trail has partnered with Ski Vermont to raise much needed funds for victims of this October's Hurricane Sandy and Long Trail is currently exploring other partnerships for this mission.
