New energy partnership brings innovative solar tracker to southwestern Vermont

A new partnership will bring the innovative Vermont-madeAllSun Trackersolar electric system to homeowners and businesses throughout southwestern and central Vermont communities.
The dealer partnership between local installer Solar Pro andsolar tracker manufacturer AllEarth Renewables of Williston was announced today.
With offices in Arlington since 2008,Solar Prois a Vermont-based renewable energy company that provides full service solar engineering, design, installation and equipment services for homes, businesses, municipal buildings, and nonprofits.
The partnership will bring the locally manufactured solar trackers to southwestern Vermont.The company also services upstate New York and western Massachusetts.
Solar Pro’s first residential solar PV installation was on Demody Road in Bennington.They have tracker installations scheduled in the coming weeks for Arlington and Manchester.
Designed and manufactured in Vermont, AllSun Trackers use innovative GPS and wireless technology to follow the sun throughout the day to boost solar energy production by up to 45 percent over roof-top installations.The ground-mounted solar systems are designed for homes, businesses, non-profits, and commercial-scale installations.
A single 4.2 kWsolar trackerwill produce enough to power the majority of an average New England home.
