For several months planBTV has been gathering the publicâ s opinion on plans for developing Burlingtonâ s downtown and waterfront. PlanBTV recently unveiled its public input web tool which allows the user to view what other residents have proposed or commented on during the planning stages. This way the viewer can add their opinion on what other residents have been saying.
The web tool is open until April 30. So far, 32,000 votes have been cast for the development project. 472 new ideas have been added this month to the web tool, joining the 429 already proposed ideas.
The first draft of the plan is scheduled to be released in late May and will be available for the public to review through July. PlanBTV will continue developing the web tool for public input to include elements of the draft plan for residents to comment on.
