FairPoint Communications names executive vice president, chief revenue officer

FairPoint Communications, Inc has announcedthatTony Tomaehas been appointedExecutive Vice Presidentand Chief Revenue Officer effective April 23, 2012. He takes over fromKathleen McLean, whose employment was terminated April 13. FairPoint is the largest telecommunications company operating in Vermont.
Tony will report toChief Executive OfficerPaul Sunu and will be responsible for all aspects of FairPoint's sales, marketing and product development functions.

Tony's experience in sales and marketing spans 22 years, including positions with Deltacom where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and WilTel Communications where he was Senior Vice President of Marketing. He has also held positions with AT&T and Broadwing Communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J.
