Appoints Jon Anderson to Montpelier
House Seat
 
Montpelier, Vt. Governor Jim
Douglas has appointed longtime Montpelier Democrat Jon
Anderson to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of longtime Montpelier representative
Francis Brooks.  Brooks retired to become the State House Sergeant-at-Arms.

 
Douglas said Anderson, a former Montpelier
city council member and an attorney who has worked for Governors Kunin and
Dean, would serve Montpelier
well. 
 
Jon cares deeply about the people of this community and will
work hard to make it a more affordable place to live, work and raise a
family, the Governor said. I look forward to working with him in
the State House.
