Doe Camp Abnaki Returns to North Hero

North Hero, VT. - Vermont Outdoors Woman announces it's 3rd Annual Doe Camp Abnaki to be held in North Hero, VT. on September 14-16, 2007. Women 18 years and older are invited to participate in their choice of over 35 outdoor classes while staying on the shores of Lake Champlain.
During the day, enjoy a smorgasbord of outdoor recreation education and hands-on workshops. Doe Campers will find themselves literally surrounded by Lake Champlain with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains and Adirondacks. The atmosphere is friendly, non competitive, and welcome to all women regardless of your physical condition or level of experience. Doe Camp Abnaki offers courses in Firearms Safety, Fishing, Archery, Canoeing & Kayaking, Nature, Biking, Wilderness Survival, ATV Rider Course, Forest Management, Hunting Skills, Sailing and much more. Participants are urged to bring a craving for the outdoors, a willingness to learn and a sense of humor. Expect to meet new friends, learn new skills and gain self confidence in a stress free atmosphere.
Attendees include individuals, family groups and girl friends. Businesses, clubs and organizations are encouraged to sponsor your staff members or employees to inspire and develop self confidence and team work. Cabins accommodate groups up to 12.
Cost is $245 and food, lodging & instruction are included. Partial scholarships are available! Discounts are available for students, mother/daughter, tenting, or daily drive-ins.
