Exterus Technology for Business, an information technology company located in Shelburne has been named a bronze sponsor for the 2007 Girls on the Run 5K Run/Walk.
Girls on the Run is an experiential program for girls in grades three through eight that combines lessons on physical, mental, and emotional development with a community service project and training for the 5K run/walk.
The 5K is the culmination of the program, and a celebration of each participant. The 5K is a non-competitive, family-friendly event where everyone is a winner!
In 2005, over 1200 enthusiastic girls, families and community members participated to celebrate their health!
The 2007 Girls on the Run 5K Run/Walk will be held Sunday, June 10, 10:00 a.m. at the UVM Cross Country Course in Burlington, Vermont.
