Main Street Location in Brattleboro Offers Convenience to Local Businesses and a Safe Haven for Area Kids
Brattleboro, VT Just in time for the Holiday Season 2006, Optima Computers has opened its newest location on Main Street in downtown Brattleboro. The newest Optima Computers retail operation features nearly 5,000 square feet of space that in addition to Optima Computers Sales and Service, will also the include the companys Gaming Zone brand, a favorite destination for many of the areas youths. The addition of this location adds to the Optima Computers locations at 845 Putney Road in Brattleboro and 17 Rockingham Street in Bellows Falls.
Were really excited about the opening of our new store on Main Street, said Josh Garza, CEO of Optima Computers. While our Putney Road location is highly trafficked, we believe having a store downtown will provide even greater convenience for users of The Gaming Zone and for consumers during the work week and especially the holidays whether for new systems sales, or for service and repair of their existing systems.
The new Main Street location will feature a highly knowledge sales staff backed by certified technicians capable of handling virtually any technology issue. Like the other Optima Computer locations, the new store features the latest laptops, desktops and peripheral products such as digital cameras from brand names like Acer, HP and Nikon in addition to the latest in gaming accessories and software.
The new location will also feature The Gaming Zone, a favorite destination among the areas kids and a safe haven for homework or simply having fun video gaming. The Main Street Gaming Zone will replace the Gaming Zone location on Putney Road with greater convenience and features five private rooms where friends can battle one another using the latest computer technology, gaming software and accessories. The new Gaming Zone location is sure the be a hit with Parents as moms and dads can monitor their kids via Optima Computers Auk Eye Network that provides real time, web-based video monitoring in a safe environment staffed by responsible adults. And like the Gaming Zone location formerly on Putney Road, the Main Street location will be available for the ever-popular LAN Parties as well as birthday parties and social events.
In celebration of the holidays and the Grand Opening of the newest Optima location, the company will be giving away an Acer Aspire Series 5000 laptop computer with a retail value of $1,199. The drawing will be held on December 23rd during a live remote hosted by Brattleboros WKVT-FM. To enter the drawing, stop by any Optima Computers location and fill out and entry form, no purchase is necessary.
The company leased the space directly from the current owners of the Galanes building; no real estate firm was involved and terms have not been disclosed. The law firm of Christopher Duggan represented Optima in the transaction. John Brunelle and Sons of Brattleboro managed renovations of the new Optima and Gaming Zone location.
