Education and awareness around substance abuse is a topic not easily discussed, but one that is essential if we are to learn how we can help as a community.
On Saturday, June 27, the first annual Addison County Wellness & Awareness Day will be held on the Middlebury Green in the center of town in Middlebury (rain location at the Municipal Building Gym). From 10 am – 2 pm, there will be approximately 20 booths focusing on nutrition, meditation, safety, and education on general overall wellness and substance abuse prevention and recovery for all ages. Attendees can also enjoy free hotdogs, live music, free giveaways and other great family activities. Take in the Middlebury Farmer’s Market right next door while you’re there.
