Vermont Public Service Department Announces February 25, 2016 Meeting of the Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel. 

The Public Service Department today announced the next meeting of the Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room at Brattleboro Union High School on 131 Fairground Road, Brattleboro, VT.

At the meeting the Panel will receive decommissioning updates from the State of Vermont and Entergy.  The Panel will also act on two draft advisory opinions on the Certificate of Public Good for the second dry cask storage pad at the Vermont Yankee site and discuss two draft advisory opinions on the future of groundwater monitoring at Vermont Yankee.  The opinions can be viewed at http://publicservice.vermont.gov/electric/ndcap
